About the Plenipotentiary representation of the Republic of Tatarstan

The objectives of the Plenipotentiary representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation are:

- cooperation with federal authorities on issues of interest to the Republic of Tatarstan

- assistance to public authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan in their interaction with the federal government

- participation in the formulation, review and approval on behalf of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan of draft legal acts of the federal government, as well as other decisions in the federal government on issues of interest to the Republic of Tatarstan

- interaction with the authorities of the city of Moscow, the Moscow region on the basis of signed agreements with the Republic of Tatarstan, with diplomats of foreign countries as part of the federal law, social and religious organizations

The Plenipotentiary representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation performs the following functions:

 - protection of the interests of the Republic of Tatarstan, adopted by the decisions  of  the Rais (Head), the Cabinet and the State Council  of the Republic of Tatarstan

- participation in the development and implementation of federal programs on financing economic and social projects in the Republic of Tatarstan (federal programs, federal targeted investment program, national projects, special economic zones, project financing from the Investment Fund, etc.)

- participation in the organization of the events, representing the Republic of Tatarstan, in Moscow, including exhibitions and fairs, cultural days

- promotion of the investors and partners to establish links with relevant government agencies and business entities of the Republic of Tatarstan

- assistance to enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan in the promotion of products and services in the regions of the Russian Federation and abroad

- representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in embassies, trade missions, as well as international governmental and public organizations, accredited in the Russian Federation

-  interaction within the decisions of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the World Tatar Congress and the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Tatars with regional national-cultural autonomies of Tatars in Moscow, the Moscow Region, the Central Federal District and other Tatar public organizations

-  assistance in the development of national culture, language, preservation of the identity of the Tatars

-  interaction with the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and other Russian and international public organizations

-  cooperation with the Council of Muftis of Russia, organizations, representing the Russian Orthodox Church and other religious organizations

-  cooperation with federal, Tatarstan and foreign media
